Huw Aaron is a Welsh cartoonist, author and illustrator. After a short and fairly hopeless career in finance, Huw found a niche as a magazine cartoonist, producing joke cartoons for, among others, Private Eye, Prospect and The Spectator. Huw then started making comics and illustrating children’s books in his native Welsh. Since 2013, he has written or illustrated over 60 Welsh-language books, and has won numerous awards including the 2023 Tir na n-Og and Welsh Children's Book of the Year prizes.
