Ulrich Hub is a German writer, actor, director and screenwriter who lives in Berlin. He has written several plays for children as well as for adults. Meet at the Ark at Eight was his first novel, and has won prizes in Germany, France, The Netherlands and Italy. Duck's Backyard is his second novel, and was selected for the White Ravens Award in 2022.
The activity pack includes book club-style questions to ponder, facts about egg-laying animals and a recipe for fun duck cupcakes, alongside jokes and further reading recommendations. There's also a logic puzzle to solve, a drawing activity and a hatching egg craft project to enjoy!
Activity packs are a handy A5 size and printed on uncoated paper which is fully recyclable.
