Business as usual at Parrot Street

It’s been a very strange and unsettling week, but as we all adjust to our new normal, we wanted to reassure our subscribers that it is business as usual at Parrot Street HQ.

We are pleased to be able to say that our April boxes are almost ready to go, and we don’t anticipate any disruption at this stage. We expect to despatch them on schedule in the first week of April, so they should arrive through your letterboxes towards the end of that week – and hopefully will provide a welcome distraction after a few weeks of home-schooling!

We’ve got two brilliant books lined up for next month, plus some fun and engaging activities to go with them, and we’re still taking orders, so if you’d like to be included in that shipment, you’ll need to subscribe here by midnight on Tuesday 31st March.

None of us know how long the current situation is going to last, but we are busy working away to prepare our packs as usual for the months ahead. We’ve been in touch with all our publisher partners this week and everyone remains open for business, so we don’t anticipate any disruption to our usual service going forward.

We’re keen to support parents and young bookworms in whatever way we can, so we’ve launched a Facebook group where we’ll be sharing activities from our archive over the coming weeks, along with book recommendations and other book-related activities we’ve discovered elsewhere. Please do join us there – we’d love to hear your book recommendations too!

Finally, if you are keen to try one of our subscription boxes, but can’t afford a full subscription at this stage, please do get in touch. We have limited stock of past packs available to purchase individually and would be happy to help you.
