A humorous detective tale for kids aged 8+
Readers will be gripped and entertained in equal measure by The Cure for a Crime by Roopa Farooki plus an accompanying activity pack which we created for Parrot Street subscribers in November 2020.
About the book
Twins Ali and Tulip have grown up with a surgeon mother and so have picked up lots of knowledge of first aid, medicine, and the ways of the hospital - they even know where the secret biscuit draw in A&E is. When their mother becomes unnaturally sleepy and forgetful, they become suspicious of her new boyfriend. With help from their mysterious wheelchair-bound gran, they set out to crack the mystery.
About the author
Roopa Farooki combines being a successful author and mum of four with working as a real-life doctor. She writes for both children and adults. The sequel to The Cure for a Crime, Diagnosis Danger, was published in 2021.
