About the book

About the author
M.T. Khan is a 22-year-old student and writer from Pakistan, now living in Canada where she is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She is a science fiction fantasy writer focusing on the societal and cultural conversations that are closest to her heart.
About the activity pack
It includes an exclusive signed book plate, bookmark, book club-style questions to ponder and instructions for creating a reflection painting inspired by Islamic architecture. There’s also a recipe for gulab jamun, Nura's favourite snack, a word search and a drawing activity, alongside jokes, facts and further reading recommendations.

About Parrot Street Book Club subscriptions
We are a monthly book subscription by post for children aged 5 to 14, focused on helping families discover new and different chapter books. This title was sent to subscribers in the Cockatoo reading group, aged roughly 8 to 12.
