Our award-winning subscriptions are a voyage of discovery for 5 to 14-year-olds, introducing them to books we think they won’t easily have discovered on their own and covering a wide range of styles and genres.
Each exciting monthly parcel contains a carefully chosen, age-appropriate chapter book and a fun-filled activity pack that takes the experience beyond the page.
1. Make your purchase
Simply choose between a 3, 6 or 12-month term and whether you’d like the gift to be for one child or two.
Select which region of the world we will be sending the box to each month. UK shipping is free. International shipping charges for the full subscription term are included in the prices shown.
These prices include free UK shipping of the voucher itself. If you enter an international delivery address at checkout, an additional charge will be applied.
2. Share the voucher
We send vouchers out First Class within 3 days of ordering as standard.
Your gift voucher will be sent to the address you give us at checkout.
If you would like the voucher sent directly to the recipient we can add a handwritten note - simply add your message in the box on the cart page.
3. The child's parent/guardian sets up the subscription
The recipient’s parent or guardian will redeem the gift voucher, give us delivery details and select the correct reading group.
We will send out a welcome pack containing bookish goodies and an introductory note within a few days of the subscription being set up.
Their first book and activity pack will arrive midway through the month after the subscription is activated.
Subscribers do not need to wait in for each monthly delivery - books are sent in a letterbox-friendly cardboard book wrap.
Please note: photos showing what’s in a pack are for illustrative purposes only – subscribers receive a brand new pack every month.
Gift subscription prices include the cost of shipping each monthly subscription box to the chosen location.
